  • Video: Is the 2026 Jayco Granite Ridge the Perfect Class C Coach?

    Camper vans have been all the rage over the past few years, but many Class B owners are now looking to upgrade to something a little larger, yet just as easy to drive. That’s where the new 2026 Jayco Granite Ridge Class C coach enters the picture. This model is larger than a van, but not ponderously so. The 22T floor plan, featured in the video above, also happens to ride on a Ford Transit 350HD AWD chassis, giving it some serious off-road capabilities. And as you’ll see in the YouTube clip, the interior is comfortable, well-appointed, and roomy.

    The Jayco Granite Ridge was one of the more exciting motor coaches we saw at the recent Hershey RV Show. Outside, the rig is impressively burly, sporting all-terrain tires, a roof rack, and a collapsible ladder. Starlink internet also comes standard, as does a heated gear garage with Molle panels, and removable wireless speakers courtesy of JBL. It even ships with a Firefly multiplexing system, allowing owners to control lights, climate, power, and more from a touch screen or an app on their smartphone. In other words, this Class C model has both brains and brawn. 

    Inside, the 22T floor plan features two twin beds that convert into a king, a sizable wet bath, and a versatile dinette that pulls double duty as a lounge when the table is removed. The kitchen comes equipped with a mini-fridge, a single-bowl stainless steel sink, an induction microwave, and a portable induction cooktop that can be stashed away to conserve space. Heating and cooling come courtesy of a 17,000 BTU hydronic heating system and a 13,500 BTU air conditioner. A gas generator and 360W solar panels provide power while living off-grid.

    Currently, the Granite Ridge is available in two distinct floor plans. In addition to the 22T model detailed in the video, Jayco also offers the 23S, which swaps the Ford chassis in favor of a Mercedes 3500 AWD version. That model also replaces the L-shaped dinette with bench seating and two removable tables, and has larger wardrobes and a bigger outdoor awning.

  • The Go-Anywhere Jayco Seneca XT is Your Passport to Adventure

A two-burner induction cooktop, convection microwave oven, and an 18 cubic-foot residential refrigerator are highlights of the kitchen, while a glass-doored shower equipped with an Aqua View SHOWERMI$ER is a standout in the bathroom.

    Other notable features include a 30,000 BTU auto-ignite furnace and dual air conditioning units for four-season camping in a variety of weather conditions. A 6,000W diesel generator and 200W of solar provide off-grid power, while a Starlink satellite internet receiver keeps you in contact no matter where you wander. A tankless water heater, JBL wireless audio system, two smart TVs, and a fireplace are just a few more of the very long list of standard features.

    But if there was ever an RV that is greater than the sum of its parts, it’s the Jayco Seneca XT. All of these excellent components, features, and amenities come together in a seamless fashion, delivering a Super C coach that can go where others can’t, while keeping you comfortable and confident along the way.   • Jayco Embark E-RV First Look

    Last year, Thor—working in partnership with Harbinger Motors—gave us a glimpse of one possible future for RVs when it unveiled its prototype electric Test Vehicle. That Class A model used an electric motor and large battery bank, combined with a gas-powered range extender, to give the RV a 500+ mile range. When it revealed the rig, Thor indicated that it hoped to have a production model ready for sale this year, which seemed ambitious at the time. Fast forward to today, and the arrival of such a vehicle is inching closer, as the all-new Jayco Embark makes its debut.

    The Jayco Embark was on display recently at the brand’s annual Dealer Homecoming event, and while most of the details have yet to be confirmed by the RV manufacturer, we’re starting to get some insights into what to expect. The video above takes us inside the motor coach, giving us a glimpse of what the interior looks like. And while much of the clip is more of a tease of what’s to come, it still offers some enticing details. For instance, the Class A model comes with a queen-size bed, a 40″ smart TV on a televator, an induction cooktop, a deep stainless steel sink, and a hidden microwave and refrigerator/freezer.

    All of that is intriguing, of course, but our colleagues over at RV Business have more details and specs to share. They were also on hand at the event and have several photos of what the Embark looks like from the outside. More importantly, they have performance numbers to share, too, including confirmation that the vehicle has a 110-mile range on electric power alone. But thanks to a 45kWh gas-powered generator that feeds power into the batteries, that range is extended to 475-500 miles. A 50-gallon tank supplies fuel to the generator, which can be filled up at any gas station at any time. The article also points out that no solar panels are incorporated into the design to further feed power to the battery packs, although the can be recharged using shore power or an EV charging stations. The rig uses the NACS charging port.

    Other specs of interest include the length of the vehicle, which stretches 30′ 9″ end-to-end and is slightly more than 11′ tall. Cooling comes courtesy of dual Coleman Mach 15,000 BTU A/C units, and a Carefree awning extends the living space outdoors. Unlike most Class A models, the Embark comes with pass-through rear storage, which is made possible due to a lack of a diesel engine. Interestingly, RV Business says the bedroom includes an elevated king-bed, which differs from what the video above indicates. A collapsible dinette opens up space in the living area, while a JBL sound system provides audio. Finally, a Dometic furnace and a Suburban tankless water heater round out the features.

    We expect the new Jayco Embark will be on display at the upcoming Hershey RV SuperShow in September, and again at the Elkhart Open House Extravaganza a few weeks later. We should have more details soon, including a potential window for the RV’s arrival on dealer lots and an MSRP, which RV Business says is rumored to be around $460,000.

    As of now, Jayco doesn’t have any information regarding this new RV on its website, but keep an eye on jayco.com for future updates.

    • Jayco Hands Off Entegra Production to Tiffin: Big news from the RV industry this week, as Thor Industries has announced a strategic move to free up production capacity while continuing to give consumers and customers impeccable service. The company announced that production of Entegra Coach’s diesel motorhomes would move from under the Jacyo banner to Tiffin instead. This will allow Jayco to ramp up production on new models, while Tiffin continues to provide the outstanding customer service it is known for.

    • GearJunkie Reviews Rossmönster Baja Trail LX Overland Vehicle: If you’ve been eyeing a Rossmönster off-road adventure truck, but were unsure of the camping experience, you may want to check out this review from our friends at GearJunkie. The writer took the Baja Trail LX model for a week-long off-road camping adventure and shares his thoughts on what it was like. The overland vehicle gets high marks for drivability and luxurious amenities, but is also on the pricey side. Still, it looks like a great option for those who can afford the $380,000 price tag.
    • Go RVing Announces “Go Beyond Your Door” Campaign: Just in time for the busy summer travel season, Go RVing has launched a new initiative promoting the benefits of the RVing lifestyle. The new “Go Beyond Your Door” campaign features a fantastic video that spotlights the benefits of RV travel and encourages all of us to go beyond our vehicle’s door to embrace the opportunities around us. To celebrate, the organization is also launching a sweepstakes for the “Ultimate RV Getaway.” Sign-up is free, and if you win, you could take home gift cards for RV and campsite rentals, along with Go RVing swag bags.     • Xponent Solar RV Awnings Now Available: Looking for an efficient way to add solar panels to your rig without installing them on the roof? If so, the Xpanse solar awning by Xponent might just be what you’re looking for. The device functions like a typical awning when installed on your RV, and includes such features as rugged build quality and built-in smart sensors to automatically retract when wind conditions get too high. But, it also comes with a 1200W solar panel built right in, and easily connects to your lithium house batteries. The unit can be deployed and monitored using a smartphone app, and when closed it is only 6″ wide.     • National Park Service Facing $1.2 Billion Budget Cut: If you’re a fan of America’s national parks, you may have received unsettling news this week. The Trump Administration released its preliminary 2026 budget plan, which proposes a massive $1.2 billion budget cut for the Park Service. This sent up alarm bells across the outdoor industry, with many experts indicating that the parks are already woefully understaffed and lacking funds to repair or expand infrastructure. The National Parks Conservation Association even pointed out that in order to reach these goals, the NPS would have to shut down more than 300 national park units.     • RV Rental Demand Remains Strong: RV rentals have become very popular in recent years, with more and more opportunities for the general public to find a rental that meets their needs. Now, the Recreational Vehicle Rental Association (RVRA) is confirming the continued popularity of this trend. Recently, the RVRA surveyed RV dealers to get a sense of the current rental market. They found that two-thirds of respondents say that bookings for the summer ahead are equal to or greater than last year. In fact, 34% said they are seeing an increase in bookings, while 29% say those levels remain the same year-over-year. Read more here.
    • The Dyrt Says 3 Out of 4 Campers have Camped in their Vehicle: If you’re a regular around here, it’s probably no secret that vehicle-based camping is very popular. But this week, The Dyrt reaffirmed that information with more data from its 2025 Camping Report. According to the online campground discovery site, three out of four respondents to its annual survey say they’ve slept in—or within close proximity—of their vehicle. That can include RVs, of course, but also car camping in trucks, SUVs, wagons, and other models. Furthermore, 53.4% indicated they preferred vehicle-based camping options, with 50.6% saying they bought a camper van, motorhome, or towable within the last five years.

    • Dometic Introduces New Next-Gen RV Furnace: Dometic had announced a new OEM furnace that promises to be more efficient and issue-free than current models. The 35K Furnace Essential reportedly produces 22% more airflow compared to its nearest competitor, keeping RV interiors warmer in the process. But the device—which is aimed at vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, and consumers—also has some key component changes, like a patent-pending, debris-resistant sensor that eliminates moving parts that could potentially break down. The furnace is a preview of things to come, with changes coming to the entire Dometic line throughout the rest of the year.
    • AdventureGenie Adds Open Road Fuel Centers to Its AI Trip Planner: This week, AI-driven trip planning site for RVers AdventureGenie and the Open Roads diesel fuel-saving app announced a partnership. The two companies are joining forces in hopes of saving their shared audiences some money. AdventureGenie says that it is now integrating Open Fuel’s gas station locations into its trip planning software, making it easier than ever for users to find stops along their route where they can fuel up and save. The service makes it easier to know when and where to stop while en route, possibly saving hundreds of dollars along the way. Find out more here.

  • Why I Bought It: The Jayco North Point 377RLBH —Spacious & Road Ready

    Derek and Laura Czaplicki’s first camper was a 27-foot bumper-pull, but over the years, they became more and more interested in fifth-wheels. In November 2020, they decided to upgrade. “We went to a lot of RV shows, trying to get an idea of what’s out there, and made a list of must-haves,” Derek says. After a lot of research, they settled on a 43-foot Jayco North Point 377RLBH. According to the couple, it “checked off all the boxes.”

    Right off the lot, the camper lived up to the Czaplicki’s expectations. The fifth-wheel was located at a dealer about four hours from their home in New York’s Hudson Valley, and on their first drive back, Derek felt a huge difference. “With a regular bumper hitch, you have to be really careful about your weight distribution,” he says. “But, to me, the fifth-wheel felt much more stable with the weight of the hitch directly over the axle.” And even though Derek uses a single-axle pickup—as opposed to a dual-axle—he says he’s never had any issues towing his Jayco in the four years they’ve owned it.

    Along with towing, the layout is one of Derek’s favorite things about the North Point. He feels the rear bed gives them the most space. Laura appreciates the versatile bonus room, which the family uses as a guest bedroom for Derek’s mother and their daughter when they come along on trips. “With the extra bedroom, we don’t have to worry about making up the bed every day,” Derek says, comparing their setup to a convertible dinette or pull-out couch in a one-bedroom camper.

    Before the Czaplickis bought the Jayco, they went on the Made in America Music Tour with Fantasy RV Tours in their old camper. “It started in Nashville and finished up in Branson, Missouri,” says Derek. “We met so many great people. It was probably our most memorable trip.” Now, the semi-retired couple is excited to make new memories in their fifth-wheel on another trip with Fantasy RV Tours and head west to see the Grand Canyon and Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

    Everything about the 2025 Jayco Pinnacle 38FBRK Fifth-Wheel is impressive. So much so that it’s hard to know exactly where to begin. The well-appointed luxury RV comes with a very long list of standard features that are sure to appeal to a broad range of travelers. That translates to safer and better-tasting water that won’t stain the RV’s shower or toilet. Other features of note include two powered awnings, an exterior entertainment system, Dexter axles with antilock brakes, and towing assist. Efficient LED lighting is used inside and out, and is included in the JaySMART safety feature, making the fifth-wheel more visible to other drivers. A JBL sound system keeps the tunes playing both inside and out.
