Northwood has a reputation for building some of the finest fifth-wheels and travel trailers on the market, and the Nash Camp is no exception. As with the other towables in the company’s line-up, this rig is designed for four-season camping and off-grid exploration, making it the perfect base camp for your favorite outdoor adventures.

Available in four unique floor plans, the travel trailer sleeps four to ten people depending on the layout. Each model rides on its own custom-built Northwood Ironhorse chassis, which provides outstanding durability and stability. A fully welded aluminum frame, laminated multi-layered substrate walls, and industry-leading build quality make this a travel trailer that provides years of worry-free service in a wide range of conditions.
The Nash Camp’s high-density block foam insulation, heated and enclosed holding tanks, 1,000 BTU auto-ignition furnace, and 13,500 BTU air conditioner keep the rig comfortable and cozy all year round. And with a 400W factory-installed solar package, a massive freshwater tank, and all-terrain tires, you can confidently wander off-grid in pursuit of that perfect campsite.

Inside, the Nash Camp is just as impressively equipped. All floor plans include a primary sleep space in the front with a queen-size pillow-top mattress and handmade wooden wardrobes. Each model comes with a spacious dinette and most also have a lounge area equipped with theater seating or a sofa. A nicely-appointed kitchen features a three-burner stove, a stainless steel sink, 12V refrigerator, and a microwave that doubles as a built-in air fryer. The onboard bathroom even has a tub and a porcelain foot-pedal toilet.
Other nice features we love include an integrated AM/FM sound system with Bluetooth connectivity and external marine-grade speakers. A powered awning with LED lighting helps extend the Nash Camp’s living space to the outdoors, while its copious amounts of internal and external storage make it easy to bring all of our favorite gear. The rig comes with a built-in omnidirectional TV antenna, but is also satellite-ready. Optional upgrades include an 3.6 Onan LP generator and large solar packages.

The Northwood Nash Camp ranges in size from 27’ 8” to 32’ 4”, with a GVWR of 9,200 lbs. to 10,700 lbs. depending on the floor plan. The rig’s sleek exterior, comfortable interior, and four-season performance put it in a class all its own, making it one of the best travel trailers for active RVers. Derek and Laura Czaplicki’s first camper was a 27-foot bumper-pull, but over the years, they became more and more interested in fifth-wheels. In November 2020, they decided to upgrade. “We went to a lot of RV shows, trying to get an idea of what’s out there, and made a list of must-haves,” Derek says. After a lot of research, they settled on a 43-foot Jayco North Point 377RLBH. According to the couple, it “checked off all the boxes.”
Photo Credit: Derek and Laura Czaplicki
Right off the lot, the camper lived up to the Czaplicki’s expectations. The fifth-wheel was located at a dealer about four hours from their home in New York’s Hudson Valley, and on their first drive back, Derek felt a huge difference. “With a regular bumper hitch, you have to be really careful about your weight distribution,” he says. “But, to me, the fifth-wheel felt much more stable with the weight of the hitch directly over the axle.” And even though Derek uses a single-axle pickup—as opposed to a dual-axle—he says he’s never had any issues towing his Jayco in the four years they’ve owned it.
Along with towing, the layout is one of Derek’s favorite things about the North Point. He feels the rear bed gives them the most space. Laura appreciates the versatile bonus room, which the family uses as a guest bedroom for Derek’s mother and their daughter when they come along on trips. “With the extra bedroom, we don’t have to worry about making up the bed every day,” Derek says, comparing their setup to a convertible dinette or pull-out couch in a one-bedroom camper.
Before the Czaplickis bought the Jayco, they went on the Made in America Music Tour with Fantasy RV Tours in their old camper. “It started in Nashville and finished up in Branson, Missouri,” says Derek. “We met so many great people. It was probably our most memorable trip.” Now, the semi-retired couple is excited to make new memories in their fifth-wheel on another trip with Fantasy RV Tours and head west to see the Grand Canyon and Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

There once was an era when, for most RV owners, the onset of winter meant storing their rig until late spring. But manufacturers have made great strides in recent years, building trailers that can keep things toasty when the mercury takes a plunge. There’s perhaps no better example than the Arctic Fox Edge from Northwood.
The double-axle towable comes with all the amenities you’d expect from a modern travel trailer: a palatial kitchen with residential-style appliances and solid-surface countertops, a bathroom with a spacious shower and porcelain toilet and a primary bedroom boasting a king-size bed, copious storage and a separate entrance. Still, it’s the rig’s cold-weather capability that sets it apart.
“Build-quality and four-season performance are our number-one priorities,” says Donald Cochran, Northwood’s chief sales of cer. “But with the AFox Edge we wanted to take things a little further—and it shows in its specs.”
Those specs include high-density block foam insulation, staving off chilly drafts and keeping heat inside. Reflective materials in the roof and on the slides, plus additional insulation in the ceiling, bolster those efforts. Add a 1,000-BTU auto-ignition furnace, frameless thermal pane windows and fully wrapped and heated holding tanks, and you have a travel trailer that—as its name suggests—is built for arctic conditions.
Northwood’s Iron Horse chassis serves as the platform. Custom built for each floor plan, the chassis enhances the trailer’s durability and off road chops. “We’re the only manufacturer that builds our own chassis,” Cochran says. “That allows us to have complete control over the quality and integrity of every aspect of the trailer.”
Attention to detail shines through in the Arctic Fox Edge, an RV that performs equally well on- and off-grid all year long. Regardless of what’s going on beyond those well-insulated walls, you might just think you’re staying at the actual Four Seasons.

One of the trends we’ve seen recently in the RV market is an increasing number of models coming with a rear deck. Now, to be clear, decks and porches aren’t a new feature, but in the past they’ve usually been found on toy haulers, converting the rear cargo ramp into usable outdoor space. But now, they’re starting to pop up on other types of travel trailers and fifth-wheels, too, adding a design element that is fun, functional, and unique. Such is the case with the 2025 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 3200WAP, which looks like a winner for a number of reasons.
The video above takes us on a tour of the Aspen Trail 3200WAP floor plan. In this case, the “WAP” in the name refers to the “walk-around porch,” which is definitely a distinct feature. While the deck on this model isn’t quite as big as some we’ve seen on the aforementioned toy haulers or popular destination models, it is still plenty spacious. It also includes a set of three outdoor stools and a bar, which only adds to the appeal. A pass-through window makes it easy to send food and drinks in and out of the RV’s kitchen, turning the area into an indoor/outdoor space that has to be seen to be believed. The covered porch even includes mood-setting LED lighting and an outdoor sound system to further enhance the experience.
You’ll find a number of pleasant surprises inside the travel trailer as well, starting with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a three-burner stove, an oven, microwave, double-basin sink, and residential refrigerator/freezer. The nearby living room features theater seating, a moveable ottoman with a hidden pop-up table, a large smart TV, and a fireplace. A Murphy bed also folds down from the wall, adding extra sleep space for guests.
Wander further back, and you’ll discover a massive bathroom that includes a factory-installed washer/dryer combo unit, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with wooden bench, and a porcelain toilet. Finally, the primary bedroom at the front of the trailer has a queen-size bed, lots of storage, and a private entrance/exit. It all comes together to create a very livable space that’s perfect for couples, small families, road warriors, and full-timers.

Of course, we can describe all of these features for you, but nothing beats seeing them for yourself. Hit play on the video above to take the walkthrough so you can see the Dutchman Aspen Trail 3200WAP for yourself. Then, head over to dutchmen.com to find out more about this exciting new towable.

When you want to live the RV life, the change of seasons can get in the way. But not with Poulsbo RVs newest Keystones: the Alpine and the Alpine Avalanche. These Fifth Wheels are ready to travel the world wherever and whenever you are.
The Keystone Alpine

One of the most striking features? The Keystone Wide Body 100” construction. The inside *feels big* and the carefully placed windows provide light and air rare in any RV!
Then there are all the innovative options! These include the one-touch six-point level-up system to provide camping ease. The full body paint protects MAX TURN high-gloss fiber glass front cap. With an impressive list of industry-leading advancements including features such as SolarFlex™ high-quality RV solar energy systems, Equa-Flex suspension, Therma-Shield holding tank protection system, Heated and enclosed underbelly, Astro foil reflective layer on roof, front and rear walls, and Insulation in the floor wrapped in Darco protective fabric, and more–Alpine sets the bar for four-season living.
The Keystone Alpine Avalanche Edition
The Avalanche Edition of the Keystone Alpine has the same bones as its sibling: the same Wide Body construction and spacious interior, the same SolarFlex™ system, the same Polar Pack for four-season living, and the same Residential kitchen and Theater-system living room with the plushest of seating and a 4K 65” television. Even the bathrooms in all Alpines are Residential and equipped with tankless heaters!
Bunkhouse versions have sleeping space for as many as 9. Couples double-bedroom suites both have full en suite baths. *ALL* Alpines are built for full-on, five-star hotel luxury.
So what makes an Avalanche different? A slightly shorter floorplan and a lower price. That’s all. So if you feel uncomfortable towing a longer fifth wheel (or if your budget needs a little more leeway) then the Avalanche is how you can have the full Alpine experience without any downsides.
The Arcadia Fifth Wheel
Just in time for Spring daydreaming! As the days get colder and grayer, and the sun sets before we even get home, we’ve brought on the spring! With the Keystone Arcadia line, you can start your Spring planning now!
The Arcadia Fifth Wheel line is our newest Keystone, including the Super Lite and the ultra-affordable Arcadia Select.
Arcadia’s philosophy is simple: no matter the floorplan, the fundamentals remain the same. These stunning Super Lite models offer Arcadia’s signature, but in lighter, easy-to-tow lengths. It’s a new approach for RVs in this weight class, and we think you’re going to love it.
Let’s start with their Keystone weathertight build. Keystone tests *ALL* its RVs in their cold chamber, certifying them down to 0° F. So you can start the RVing season early, and end it late. It’s all part of their Peak Weather Protection Package, which includes:
· 35,000 BTUs high output furnace
· Fully enclosed, insulated holding tanks with 12V heat pads
· Reflective insulation in floor, roof, and front wall
· Electric fireplace with 5,100BTU of heat
· BladePure™ High Performance ducting with Merv-9 filter
· Heated Pass-Thru storage
· Nautilus Water Management System
There there’s the floor. The high-performance, water resistant floor.
Stronger, lighter and more resilient than traditional wood laminated flooring, Keystone’s exclusive HyperDeck™ is an excellent example of how the Keystone Innovation Lab challenges industry norms to build better RV’s. By its nature, traditional wood floor construction presents the possibility of taking on water, key for RV owners who need to remain vigilant to keep moisture out of their coaches. Hyperdeck replaces wood with 100% inorganic materials, designed to resist water and water damage.
The presence of a Girard Tankless Water Heater is a luxury for some, but it’s the sort that quickly turns into a necessity. The advantages include:
42,000 BTUs provides the optimum performance for an RV’s plumbing
No special LP gas lines or special plumbing required
Quiet, brushless motor
12V power operates at less than 3 AMPs
Freeze protection enables reliable winter use
Designed specifically for recreational vehicles
Compact design – fits in any tank water heater cut-out opening
Add in the impossibly versatile, exceptionally designed, SolarFlex Solar Energy and you have a system that’s shattering customers’ expectations of factory solar power. SolarFlex™ eliminates the guesswork, delivering affordable, high-quality RV solar energy systems.
Finally — and perhaps best of all – is the Curt ARV pin box. With its unique pivoting pin design, Arcadia’s ARV pin box minimizes fore-to-aft chucking for safer towing. Flexible, rubberized grommets at all attachment points reduce vibration by 50%, eliminating wear and tear on your RV.
As for the Interior, take a look for yourself. Whether it’s the Arcadia Super-Lite or the Arcadia Select, you’ll find beautiful, well-built interiors with plenty of high-end amenities. Easy to tow, easy to enjoy, this might be the perfect Fifth Wheel for you. Come in and take a look for yourself.
The Reign Travel Trailer
The Reign is an all-new, ergonomically designed, premium single-axle travel trailer, built to elevate your camping experience with its compact layout and impressive features.
To start with, the body and skin of the Reign is a brilliant new design: the outer layer is an exclusive automotive-finished laminate of sheet of aluminum. That’s where much of the lightweight, wood-less structure comes from. No wood? That means no rot is even possible.
No Aluminum studs? One of the big advantages of this type of build is that it’s both strong and light, much like traditional Azdel-style laminated walls. But the aluminum studs are a poor insulator so there are times you can literally “see” them if the temperature is just right.
So, not only is this a strong built but there are fewer thermal losses.
The unique wall construction is built on a B-A-L frame. The significance of that is that these frames are bolted together with huck bolts rather than being welded. These frames are stronger and more watertight.
Then there’s the ride. Equipped with Dexter’s Torflex® torsion axles, campers will appreciate a smoother ride, minimizing road shock and vehicle damage over time.
Inside the Reign
If you like that sleek, clean European RV style, you are going to love the interior of the Reign. It’s bright and cozy, and the 78″ interior height will give you plenty of space to move about.
You will also enjoy the ultrabright LED light strip and solid surface countertops in the kitchen, along with a large 12-volt refrigerator. A two-burner cooktop and air fryer/convection microwave will let you cook meals each day, and there is a huge countertop plus a flip-up extension for even more prep space. The fireplace is sure to make your RV feel like home!
The flip-down Murphy Bed will complete your day easily, while leaving plenty of space during the day.
Reign Interior Features
If you’re looking for a camper that will last, provide clean interior and exterior style, and offers Keystone’s quality build and features, come in or call, and ask us more. We’ll be glad to talk about the Reign all day.
The Florida RV SuperShow is a place where many manufacturers show off their latest and greatest motorhomes and travel trailers, and of course, Airstream was no exception. At the show, the company revealed the all-new Midnight Flamingo edition, an upgrade package available on the 2025 Flying Cloud model. This beautiful new addition to the Airstream line-up adds striking black exterior accents, enhanced interior décor, and a high-quality sound system from Klipsch. That’s all on top of the amazing features and amenities already found on this towable.
The video above comes our way courtesy of Myles RVs and takes us on an extensive tour of this exciting new addition to the Airstream catalog. The Flying Cloud featured in the clip is the 27FB floor plan, which is a front bedroom model. In this case, the travel trailer features two twin beds, although a queen-size mattress is available. The towable is also equipped with a split bathroom layout, with the toilet, vanity, and sink on one side of the rig and the spacious shower on the other. The open kitchen includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and sink, while the nearby dinette has room for four. A lounge area with a TV also adds additional comfort and space.
Of course, the Midnight Flamingo package is the star of the show here, with exterior blackout elements and a dash of style to the Flying Cloud’s already good looks. Those accents aren’t just eye-catching, however, as they also add functionality, adding an extra measure of protection along the front stone guards, removable LP covers, and bumper storage. Airstream has also removed its signature chrome trim on its wheels and replaced it with black rims, along with additional midnight trim—including special badging— that add symmetry to the entire package.
Inside, the Midnight Flamingo package adds additional blackout features, along with new textures and a flat color palette. Charcoal-colored fabrics are featured throughout, with easy-to-clean, durable materials taking center stage. Black light fixtures, a black faucet, and black handles on the cabinets and drawers also look strikingly beautiful and elegant.
One of the more standout features for the Midnight Flamingo package is the integrated Klipsch audio system. This feature provides premium sound throughout the trailer for listening to music, podcasts, audio books, and watching movies. Owners can connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to stream from their favorite mobile devices, with four Klipsch brass cone speakers replacing the standard speakers that Airstream typically uses. The result is a beautiful sound experience unlike any other.

Currently, the Midnight Flamingo package is available on the Flying Cloud 25FB and 27FB floor plans. For more information, check out the video above and visit the Airstream website.
The annual Florida RV SuperShow held in Tampa each January is a significant event for the RV industry for several reasons. For example, because it is the first big show of the year, is also a popular place for manufacturers to introduce new models and floor plans. Those big reveals are often a good indicator of the trends we can expect to see over the next year, with new features, layouts, and designs taking center stage. That is the exact topic of the video above, which comes our way courtesy of the All About RVs YouTube channel.
Recently, All About RVs host Jared Gillis traveled to Tampa to attend the big event. While there, he had the chance to experience firsthand all of the big trends we can expect from the RV industry in 2025. Those include a number of exciting new directions, including a focus on extending the living space outside the rig by adding fancier, more well-equipped decks to vehicles that didn’t necessarily have them in the past. Jared also saw more manufacturers reinforcing the foundations on which their RVs are built with a focus on the chassis, suspension, and frame. This was a trend across both towables and driveables.
Other notable trends included a continued move toward more open and brighter interiors, the increased use of quieter and more efficient heating and cooling systems, and improved technology to increase the reliability of slide-outs. All of these features, and more, can be seen in the video above, with great footage from on the ground in Tampa. The clip also gives us a glimpse at a number of new RVs that are making their debut this year, including the new Grand Design Lineage Series F.
Check out the video to further insights into the top RV trends of 2025. Then jump over to the All About RVs YouTube channel for more great clips.
If you were to ask us what makes an Ember RV so special, we could come up with a very long list of amenities that truly stand out. Exceptional build quality, impressive off-road capabilities, roomy interiors, and excellent use of technology are all hallmarks of the brand. But the one thing that definitely elevates an Ember travel trailer above anything else in the industry is its patent-pending EmberTrack system, an exclusive feature that brings outstanding versatility and adaptability to the RV space.
Factory installed on select Ember floorplans, the EmberTrack E-Track system is designed to bring flexibility and convenience to the rear cargo/storage area. The tracks make it easy to add or remove multifunctional aluminum-tube laminated bunk platforms, converting the open area into an extra sleep space as needed. The system is strong enough to support a 300-pound single bunk or a 600-pound double bunk, with the option to easily raise or lower the height of the beds or remove them when they aren’t needed.
Don’t need bunk beds in your travel trailer? The EmberTrack system is capable of so much more. For instance, the bunk platforms also make excellent shelves for organizing the storage area to meet your individual needs. Have to work from the road? Install one platform to transform the space into a highly functional office. And when you’re not sleeping or working, the bunk platforms can be removed altogether, creating a massive gear garage for all of your favorite outdoor toys.
In true Ember fashion, the cargo area has other features that further enhance its versatility. The space has a large baggage door that makes it easy to load and unload, while a pulldown screen keeps it well-ventilated and bug-free. The company also uses standard E-track throughout the space, which means there are countless third-party accessories and add-ons that are compatible with the system. This gives owners even more flexibility in how they use their RVs, allowing them to get as creative as they like.
Adventurous travelers looking for a rig that can keep up with their wandering ways now have a new option to consider. MDC USA, which is an offshoot of a well-established Australian overlanding travel trailer brand, has introduced a new towable designed for remote camping. The rugged RV has everything you could ask for in a mobile base camp, including an impressive power system for extended boondocking.
Dubbed the XT12HR Off-Grid Extreme Edition, the trailer measures 18′ 2″ end-to-end and has a GVWR of 6,147 lbs. That may seem a bit on the heavy side for a relatively small trailer, but this model is built to take on rough terrain and demanding conditions. To that end, the rig is built on a galvanized steel chassis and rides on an X-TRACK independent coil spring suspension. It also comes with aluminum alloy wheels, Goodrich off-road tires, a Cruisemaster hitch, and an electromagnetic braking system.
Other exterior features include an outdoor kitchen with a three-burner stove, integrated shelving, a sink with hot and cold running water, and a slide designed for an optional refrigerator. Dual 21-gallon freshwater tanks and a 10-gallon gray tank serve as the trailer’s reservoirs. A 12V electric awning provides shade from the sun and shelter from rain, while a drop-down servery table adds convenience during and after meal prep. A hot/cold external shower with a wall-mounted shower tent is also a nice addition, as are the large external cargo bays.
Inside, the XT12HR features another kitchen with a three-burner stove and sink, a wet bath, and oak countertops and benches. A cozy dinette—complete with a removable table—makes a great place to gather for meals or other activities, while a built-in wardrobe offers closet space to store your clothes and gear. A residential-style, pillow-top queen bed comfortably sleeps two.
Of course, any RV labeled as “off-grid extreme” has to have an electrical system to back up those claims. The XT12HR delivers in this area by shipping with a Renogy power system that includes a 400Ah lithium house battery, a 3000W pure sine-wave inverter, and 350W of solar panels as standard equipment. The solar can be expanded to 950W by including more rooftop and portable solar panels.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, the XT12HR Off-Grid Extreme Edition is built for four-season camping. The unit comes with a 13,000 BTU roof-mounted Truma Aventa Eco air conditioner and an 11,500 BTU propane Truma VarioHeat furnace. Heated holding tanks, insulated water lines, self-heating batteries, and dual-pane windows also help to keep the travel trailer comfortable and functioning in a wide array of weather conditions.
“The XT12HR Off-Grid Extreme Edition reflects MDC’s commitment to creating innovative, high-quality travel trailers designed to exceed expectations,” says MDC Founder and President Vaughan Hindley in a press release announcing the towable. “We understand the needs of modern adventurers, and this model delivers unmatched off-grid capabilities, comfort, and reliability in a compact, stylish design. It’s a game-changer for couples who want to explore without limits.”

The new overlanding travel trailer will make its official debut at the Utah RV Show in Sandy, UT, on February 13-16. Visit the MDC USA website to learn more, and expect to hear more about this exciting towable in the future.
Pop-up campers can trace their origins all the way back to the early 1900s, when innovative travelers first attached collapsible tents to a trailer to create a portable camping space. For a time, these rudimentary RVs remained DIY projects, but by 1914, the Campbell Folding Camping Trailer was being produced and sold across the US. In the decades that followed, dozens of companies made similar products, with the humble pop-up growing into one of the most popular and accessible options for family camping trips and other outdoor excursions.
Today, the popularity of the pop-up camper isn’t as high as it once was, but these towables continue to be a viable option for many RVers. Not only are these models very beginner-friendly, they are also lightweight and affordable compared to most other campers. They also serve as a great bridge for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy camping in a tent but are looking for more comfort and convenience. A modern pop-up can deliver all of that and so much more, often rivaling a small travel trailer that is much easier to tow and store.

What is a Pop-Up Camper?
A pop-up camper is a type of towable RV that has a small and flat profile when being towed or stored, but expands—or pops up—at the campsite to provide more interior space. In their expanded form, many of these trailers have a top that resembles a tent, with mesh screens serving as windows and durable fabrics acting as the walls and ceiling. This allows for plenty of airflow and ventilation for warm-weather camping, but makes this style of RV less comfortable in colder conditions. That said, these days there are also some hard-sided pop-ups that tend to be a little pricier, but offer better performance across a wider array of temperature and weather conditions.
In the past, most pop-up trailers were usually deployed using a crank connected to a system of cables and pulleys that expanded the living space upwards. Modern versions of the pop-up often employ electric motors that can accomplish the same task simply by pushing a button. Either way, a pop-up camper is very easy to set up and is usually ready for use in just a few minutes.
As already mentioned, the benefits of owning a pop-up camper are that they are easy to tow and store, and more comfortable than sleeping in a tent while still offering a similar level of immersion in nature. They are also affordable compared to other types of RVs and generally don’t require a lot of maintenance. On the other hand, these types of campers don’t offer the same level of protection from cold temperatures or inclement weather as a travel trailer, and they can lack privacy at a busy campground.
Pop-ups are great options for solo campers, couples, and families.

Forest River Rockwood Tent
Forest River makes several different pop-up trailers in both soft and hard-sided models. Its Rockwood Tent trailers fall into the more traditional soft-sided category, and while they may resemble similar campers from the past, they offer some surprisingly great modern features and amenities that you might not expect in this category. They’re also sold at affordable prices, making them very attractive to first-time RV buyers looking for a great alternative to sleeping in a tent.
The Rockwood Tent is available in two variations, the OTG (Off The Ground) Series and the Freedom Series. OTG models are smaller than the Freedom Series, but are still substantially bigger than most tents. Available in two floorplans, these trailers are much more comfortable than sleeping on the ground, making them dryer and safer, too. The interiors are fairly basic and include a bed and a small dinette. These units range in size from 11′ 10″ to 13′ 10″ and have unloaded vehicle weights (UVW) of 1,299 lbs to 1,319 lbs.

By contrast, the Freedom Series uses a fold-out pop-up design and is available in six unique floorplans ranging in size from 16′ 7″ to 19′ 3″ when deployed. These models have a UVW between 1,763 lbs and 3,058 lbs. In addition to including two sleeping areas, these models also come with kitchens and a dinette. The larger versions even have an onboard toilet, an expanded kitchen with a stove, and air conditioning. All models have awnings that expand the living space outdoors, with one unit–the 2280FT–coming with a front storage deck.
Pricing for the Rockwood Tent OTG Series starts at $8,955 , while the Freedom Series has an MSRP of $14,599.

Forest River Rockwood Hard Side Series Trailers
As noted above, Forest River also offers hard-sided pop-up trailers. The company’s Rockwood Hard Side Series models offer much of the same versatility as their soft-sided cousins the OTG and Freedom Series, but with some nice upgrades. Those include better performance in a wider range of weather conditions, helped in part by both built-in A/C and a furnace. These models also provide a quieter, more private interior, and the solid roof makes it easier to mount solar panels, skylights, and vents.
Available in three floorplans, the Rockwood Hard Side Series ranges in size from 16′ 4″ to 20′ 4″, with UVWs of 1,924 lbs to 2,728 lbs. This makes them small and light enough to be towed by a variety of vehicles, while delivering outstanding performance at an affordable price. All models include a bed, a dinette, and kitchenette, with some models coming with a stove top and even a toilet. Onboard storage makes it easy to bring all of your gear, while windows and skylights provide ample natural light.
Pricing for the Rockwood Hard Side Series starts at $14,995.

Coachmen Clipper
Technically, Coachmen’s Clipper line of camping trailers falls under the Forest River corporate umbrella, but these models do have characteristics and design elements all their own. The Clipper brand includes several teardrop models, but it is the pop-up campers that most caught our eye. These RVs have a classic pop-up look, but offer an experience that is thoroughly modern, including innovative use of materials to keep owners comfortable at the campsite.
The Clipper pop-up models come in several variations, including the Clipper Sport, Clipper LS, and Clipper Classic, spread out over six floorplans. All versions include insulated bunks that provide extra warmth on chilly nights, with some models equipped with queen and king-size beds. Most of the trailers come with a kitchen sink, two-burner stove, and a refrigerator. Bench seating and dinettes are part of the design, too, with the largest model even having a slide-out.
Sizes range from 12′ 2″ to 19′, with VWs between 1,577 lbs. and 2,840 lbs. Prices start at $14,994.

Aliner A-Frame Campers
Aliner is another manufacturer that specializes in making hard-sided pop-up campers that offer a wide range of features and functionality in a lightweight package. Quite honestly, the brand’s entire line of A-Frame models is outstanding, with each bringing something to the table that appeals to a different crowd. Want to go small and ultralight? The Scout Lite is an amazing option. Need something with a bit more space? You can’t go wrong with the Expedition. The entire catalog features excellent build quality, great design, and proven dependability from top to bottom.
That said, there are a couple of Aliner models that stick out to us. For instance, the Evolution 15 brings off-road capabilities to the pop-up space, allowing owners to take the 18′ trailer to remote locations. The rig has a GVWR of 3,500 lbs., which makes it easy to tow, and its hard-sided fiberglass body—not to mention 16,000 BTU furnace—provides protection from the elements. Inside, you’ll find a very comfortable living space, complete with a kitchen, dinette, and a couch that converts to a bed. It even has a 32″ x 32″ shower and a swivel cassette toilet, along with a 35-gallon freshwater tank. Pricing starts at $56,055.
We’re also big fans of the Aliner Amp, which includes many of the same features as the Evolution series trailers, but has been further upgraded for off-grid living. This model comes equipped with a 5kWh EcoFlow battery bank, 3,600W inverter, and dual 400W solar panels. That’s enough to keep the onboard appliances running for days at a time, making it even easier to stay at your favorite boondocking site. MSRP starts at around $40,000.

Opus OP4
If you’re in the market for an off-road pop-up camper, the Opus OP4 needs to be on your shortlist. This 17′ model is built like a tank, yet has a GVWR of just 4,200 lbs. It has an interior height of eight feet, sleeps six, and can easily camp off-grid for four days. The rig ships with a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen that includes a four-burner stove, sink with hot running water, a 12V fridge, an integrated work space, and plenty of storage. A U-shaped dinette with removable table makes the perfect gathering point after a long day playing outdoors.
One of the more unique aspects of the OP4 is that unlike other pop-ups, it uses a built-in inflatable tent to create its interior space. The system includes an integrated air pump that automatically inflates the tent in under two minutes, creating a safe, stable environment with minimal effort. The tent is made from a dual-layer polycotton material that is lightweight, durable, waterproof, and UV-resistant.
Optional upgrades to the OP4 include an outdoor awning, heating and air conditioning, a solar energy system, and even an onboard entertainment center. Pricing starts at $32,995.

TrailManor 3124 Series
TrailManor makes several unique hard-sided pop-up models that deliver everything you would expect from this type of camper. But if you’re in the market for a model with room for the entire family, the 3124 Series may be your best option. This unit measures 31′ in length, making it one of the largest pop-ups on the market, but with a dry weight of under 3,200 pounds, it remains maneuverable and easy to tow.
Open and spacious, the 3124 has room for up to seven people depending on the floorplan. The main sleeping area includes a king-size bed, and each model includes an indoor bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower/tub. The kitchen has a three-burner stove, an oven, a sink, and a refrigerator. Owners can choose layouts that offer a large dinette, a second bed, or a living area with a convertible couch. A 20,000 BTU furnace comes standard, while solar, an awning, and an electric tongue jack are all optional. MSRP starts at $35,707.

SylvanSport Go
Versatility is the name of the game with the SylvanSport Go pop-up camper. This small—but mighty—trailer can be used as a toy hauler, a cargo carrier, and an RV. And with a GVWR of just 1,650 lbs., it is the lightest model in our round-up. But don’t let the Go’s size fool you; it is as rugged and dependable as you would expect.
Despite its relatively small size—the rig is just 17′ long from end to end—the Go has room to sleep four adults and an interior standing height of 6′ 5″. The towable does lack many of the features that you’ll find on the other pop-ups on this list, like an onboard kitchen or a bathroom, but it does have plenty of cargo space to bring a stove, grill, portable shower, and anything else you need at the campsite. Its minimalist approach allows for nearly endless customization and is also reflected in the price. Starting at $12,995, this model is certainly easy on the wallet.
That’s our list of the top pop-up campers currently available. If this is the kind of camper you’re looking for, surely one of these rigs will work for you. All you have to do is figure out how much you want to spend and which features are indispensable to your camping experience.
The world of RVs can be sprawling, especially when you consider the field’s full spectrum, somehow embracing both landship Class As and nimble, tiny, camp-ready trailers. Looking forward into 2025, we tried to take it all in. We roamed big shows and scoured remote corners of the internet, searching and sifting to pick some all-stars from the crop of new vehicles hitting the road. We found a dynamic world of high design and sometimes whimsical ambition—an industry that’s exploring every cultural niche and lifestyle pursuit it can think of. We noticed a growing cohort of “destination” trailers, speaking to folks who see their rig as something more than a means from Point A to B. We saw many clever remixes of nostalgic looks and high-tech amenities. Some of the most interesting vehicles take age-old RV categories and blur their boundaries. Read on—you’ll see the rides that caught our eye. And maybe yours?

Then there’s the floor — the high-performance, water resistant floor.
Even the bathrooms in all Alpines are Residential and equipped with tankless hot water heaters!
Then start dreaming of Spring.
